Common faults, causes and troubleshooting methods of planters?
(1) Uneven sowing spacing or uneven distribution of seeds. Reasons: operating speed is too fast; the seed cup is blocked; the seed tube is blocked; the opener disc cannot rotate normally. Remedy: reduce the operating speed; clean the seed cup; clean the seed tube; check the disc opener.

(2) Uneven seeding depth. Reasons: working speed is too fast; working conditions are too wet; the planter is not level; the hook height is incorrect. Remedy: reduce the operating speed; work when appropriate; readjust; adjust the height of the hook.

(3) The opener disc cannot rotate normally. Reasons: stubble or soil gathered on the disc scraper; the adjustment of the scraper was too tight, restricting rotation; the disc bearing was damaged; the opener frame was bent or deformed, etc. Remedy: clean the scraper; adjust the scraper; replace the disc bearing; replace the opener frame, etc.

(4) The seeds are broken too much. Reasons: fast working speed; insufficient working length of the seed cup groove wheel; insufficient opening of the seed cup tongue. Remedy: reduce the operating speed; open the seed cup groove wheel wide enough; enlarge the opening of the seed cup tongue door.

(5) The suppression effect is not good. Reasons: too wet or too many clods; incorrect hook height; mismatch between the depth of the pinch roller and the opener; there is not enough down force on the disc opener. Remedy: wait until it is dry or reset the ground; adjust the height of the hook; adjust the depth of the suppression wheel; increase the downforce of the opener.

(6) The suppression wheel or the opener is blocked. Reasons: the sowing conditions are too wet; the down force of the opener is too large; it retreats in the ground; the disc bearing does not work. Remedy: wait for the right time; reduce the down pressure of the opener; clean the ballast wheel or opener, and check for damage; replace the bearing.

(7) It is difficult or unstable to raise or lower the planter. Cause: Leakage of hydraulic equipment. Remedy: check and repair.

(8) The coulter has insufficient furrowing depth. Reasons: not enough weight; the height of coupling with the tractor is too high; the ground wheel supports the planter. Remedy: increase the counterweight; reduce the hook height; adjust the height of the ground wheel.

(9) The coulter or seeding is too deep. Reasons: inappropriate setting depth; incorrect adjustment of the suppression wheel; too heavy planter. Remedy: reset the depth; set the suppression turn to a shallower position; reduce the counterweight.
